what time is it?
Easily work out the answers to questions such as "What time will it be in London when it is 9:15am in Tokyo?"
- View the current time or adjust it to a time earlier or later in the day
- See when the sun’s shadow will make it light and dark.
- Drag your finger across the map to change the time.
- Automatic calculation of summer daylight savings.
The clocks will have a white face from 6:00am to 6:00pm, indicating daytime. Between 6:00pm to 6:00 am, the clocks will have a dark face to indicate night time.
date and map options
Tap the screen to display the options panel.
Pressing the Current time button to set the clocks to the current time. The clocks will display the second hand to indicate the current time.
- Adjust the date slider to change the time of year.
- Animated clocks will move position when changing city or when summer daylight changes.
- Set the central continent to America, Europe or Asia.
choosing cities
The city selection page is displayed after you touch one of the clocks. This allows you to change the city time that is displayed on the clock.
Scroll through the list of cities, or use Keywords to search by City, Country or Continent.
City information includes:
- The time offset from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
- The name of the timezone
- The city location, displayed on a world map.
- The current daylight saving and next change (if applicable).
After choosing a city, press the Save button to save the changes. Press "Cancel" to ignore any changes made.

Select Settings button on your iPhone or iPod to access additional display settings.
From the settings page, you can:
- Set your preference for central continent.
- Choose whether to display the sun
and set it's size.
