How to add an Account.

This guide shows how to authenticate with Google to allow Analytics Pro to access your Google Analytics Account.

The authentication screen is displayed automatically when Analytics Pro is first installed. This guide shows how to access it manually if you wish to add additional Google Analytics Accounts.

Analytics Pro supports two methods of Authentication, OAuth and Client Login.

1) OAuth

OAuth is the default used when Analytics Pro is first installed.

When Analytics Pro is run for the first time, it will display the 'Add Account' screen shown in step 3 below.

To access the 'Add Account' manually follow from step 1 below.

  • 1) Select the 'Accounts' button.
  • 2) Select the '+' button.
  • 3) Select the 'Login' button.
  • 4) Enter the Email and Password for your Google Account.
    Select the 'Sign In' button.
  • 5) Select the 'Allow access' button.
  • 6) Select the 'Done' button.






2) Client Login

Client Login is a method of authentication which provides support for older versions of the Google Analytics API.

To access the 'Add Account' manually follow from step 1 below.

  • 1) Select the 'Accounts' button.
  • 2) Select the '+' button.
  • 3) Enter the Username and Password for your Google Account.
    Select the 'Save' button.
