How do I see Adwords data?
In order to see AdWords data, you need to link your AdWords and Google Analytics accounts.
Information about how to do this can be found on the following link.
Google/Adwords
It may take up to 24 hours to appear after linking.
What is the message "Forbidden" ?
There are two possible reasons for the "Forbidden" message.
1) The "Forbidden" message will be displayed if the user is not
authorized to access the information, or if the user ID is invalid.
Check that you have correctly entered your email and password.
Also, in order to use Analytics Pro you will need a Google Account that
is set up with Google Analytics.
These are both free services provided by Google.
For more information about a Google Account, visit
www.google.com/accounts
For more information about Google Analytics, visit
www.google.com/analytics
2) The "Forbidden" message will be displayed if your account is not compatible with ClientLogin.
In this case, you can use the newer authorisation method called OAuth 2.0.
This requires a quick change from the default setting "Version 2.4" to "Version 2.4 (OAuth)".
For more details, see the following Support Note
What is the message "BadAuthentication" ?
What does the message "BadAuthentication - The login request used a username or password that is not recognized" mean?
For more details, see the following Support Note
How do I view the city report?
Use the "Location" report to view visitor data for cities, regions, countries and continents.
a) Select the row to navigate to the next level.
i.e. Continent -> Country -> Region -> City
More information can be found here
.
b) Use the blue disclosure button to view a daily trend graph.
What Setting should I use for "Account Type" ?
A new setting has been added that allows you to select the type of Account that is authenticated by Analytics Pro. This allows you select whether to authenticate with a Google Account or a hosted account such as Google Apps.
If you are having difficulty logging in to your account, it may be due the incorrect setting for "Account Type".
In most cases selecting "Google" should solve login issues.
For more details, see the following Support Note
I see the message "No Analytics Account"
If you see this message, it might mean that there is no Analytics Account for the Account you are trying to log into.
It is also possible that Analytics Pro is authenticating with a Google Apps account rather than a Google Account.
For more details, see the following Support Note
How do I change the currency unit for E-Commerce Graphs?
Select the Settings option from the main menu (in the Summary Section). This will display the Settings page, from which you can select the currency unit you wish to use.
Why do some pages take longer to load than others?
Some reports will generate more data than others and therefore take longer to download.
To reduce the amount of data being downloaded:
a) Try reducing the number of days in the date range used to display your data.
b) Reduce the Number of "Rows per Page" in the Settings.
The download speed will also be affected by the type of network connection being used.
Will AnalyticsPro work with my device?
Analytics Pro will work on any iPhone or iPod Touch with OS 3.1.2 or higher.
Why does the report not display any data?
If there is no data for the available report, it cannot be displayed. Try changing the date range to see more data.
I get an error after upgrading to iPhone 4.
After you have upgraded to iPhone 4, you might see the message "Authentication Failed. The error is unknown or unspecified.".
You need to re-enter the password for your account. To do this:
1) Go to the "Select Account" menu. If you have several Accounts stored on your iPhone, this page should be displayed when you start AnalyticsPro. If you have none or only 1 Account stored, you need to press the "Accounts" button after you start AnalyticsPro.
2) On the "Select Account" menu, press the "Edit" button to enter Edit mode. Press the blue circular arrow next to the account you wish to edit. This will display the "Edit Account" menu.
3) On the "Edit Account" menu, enter your username and password. Please check carefully that you enter the details correctly. When you have done this, press the "Save" button.
